PROGRAMS WITH DEADLINES EXTENDED TO FEBRUARY 16TH:

• Global Seminar: Conservation Biology & Practice in Brazil's Atlantic Forest (Nazaré Paulista)
• Earn three credits this May in Brazil’s Atlantic Forest on this exciting CU-Boulder Global Seminar. Obtain hands-on experience in the principles and practice of conservation biology. Experience operational conservation programs in the Serra do Mar Biodiversity Corridor, participate in community-based conservation solutions, and much more. Students from a range of disciplines with an interest in conservation are encouraged to apply. The course (EBIO 4100/5100) meets EBIO's 4000 and ENVS Application requirements.

• Global Seminar: Gender, Race, & Tourism in Contemporary Cuba (Havana, Cuba)
• Study Gender, Race, & Tourism this summer in Cuba through an anthropological lens for 5 weeks and earn 6 credits. You will visit museums, places of cultural and historical relevance, and there will be excursions to other parts of the country beyond the capital city of Havana. The program is open to all majors and there is no Spanish language requirement.

• International Operations (Hong Kong, China)
• Travel to Hong Kong, China this summer and study Operations Management in one of the largest trading centers in Asia. You will engage in daily site visits to local businesses and learn first-hand about manufacturing in mainland China during an overnight field trip to Guangdong Province.

• Global Inquiry: Independent Research in Bolivia and Democracy & Global Seminar: Democracy & Development in Bolivia (Coroico, Bolivia)
• CU-Boulder students have an exciting new opportunity this year to combine an independent research experience with the acclaimed existing Global Seminar in Bolivia! Earn 3 credits in 2 weeks on while studying democracy and development. Gain an inside perspective of the strategies and political organization of rural communities with a unique cultural and agricultural history. Students who participate in the Global Seminar: Bolivia will have the opportunity to spend an additional 3 weeks and earn additional credits for an independent research experience, working collaboratively with Bolivian college students and in partnership with local community organizations, governmental agencies, small businesses, and international NGOs.
